WORKSHOP PLANNING TOOLS

The following is a list of items that we recommend you have on hand while attending the workshop:

  • Your 2022 yearbook, ladder diagram and school newspapers for content and coverage ideas

  • 2023 preliminary plans with theme, coverage and design ideas

  • Magazines for ideas and inspiration

  • Past judging critiques, if applicable

  • Paper and pen

  • Phone to capture new ideas

Q:  What is the cost of the workshop? Yearbook vs. Photography Track?

A:  The yearbook track is $185.00 per person. The photography track is $225 per person. Full payment must be received within two weeks of registration. Registrations will be honored on a first come-first serve basis. No unpaid reservations will be honored. Registration includes workshop instruction, materials and meals as noted on the schedule. 

Q:  What if I need to cancel? 

A:  Cancellations requests within two weeks of camp start can only be refunded 50% of the total.  

Q:  What are my payment options?
A:  Acceptable forms of payment include check, credit card or money order. If paying with a credit card there will be applicable service fees. Please make check or money order payable to: Jostens Houston. If your school requires a purchase order, complete the online registration and use your confirmation email as an invoice to request a check from your school.

Q:  How do we make a hotel reservation for the workshop?

A:  Hotel reservations must be made directly with South Shore Harbor Resort by calling

(800)442-5005. Ask for in-house reservations and request the Jostens Houston Summer Yearbook room block.
